Getting Here
Finding your way to Great Keppel Island will always take you through Rockhampton. The beef capital of Australia! Rocky is located 40 kilometres or approximately 45 minutes drive from Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast.
Transport to Rockhampton, Queensland will be by private car, Qantas or Virgin Australia, Greyhound or Premier Buses and Queensland Rail.
Rockhampton to Keppel Bay Marina
From Rockhampton, travel to Yeppoon, and then to Rosslyn Bay (40km drive):
- Take the Yeppoon-Rockhampton road turnoff, just north of Rockhampton from the Bruce Highway.
- A 30-minute drive will bring you to Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast.
- Turn right along the Scenic Highway (The Capricorn Coast Tourist Organisation office is just on your left).
- After a short ten minute drive you will be at the Rosslyn Bay Harbour turnoff (Great Keppel Island Security Car Park is on your right).

Festival Info
Ticket holders will be refunded less booking fees. If you are sick or unable to attend, your tickets may be refunded at the organiser’s discretion. No other refunds will be permitted for any reason.

The official ticketing agency for this event is Oztix. Sunset Sessions takes no responsibility for tickets purchased outside of the official agencies. Tickets purchased through third parties such as Viagogo, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Ebay or other sites are done so at the customer’s own risk. Fraudulent tickets will not be honoured. Once a ticket purchase is completed there are no refunds or exchanges available.
It is a condition of entry that all bags and personal belongings are presented to Security Staff for inspection. Patrons detected with contraband items such as alcohol will be refused entry without refund. Please also note that the event has a no pass out policy so please come prepared for the full day.
First Aid will be on site for the event duration and is near the festival entry.
This event is an open air concert that will proceed rain, hail or shine. In the very unlikely event of a cancellation, ticketholders will be advised by email and social media. The event will only be cancelled if the site is deemed unsafe to proceed / continue. This decision will be made by Event Management, Venue Management and Emergency Services. Patrons are advised to come prepared for the elements with appropriate attire footwear, a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen and rain poncho.
